Nothing moves. Your conversations, memories, and journal live on your device, sealed with a key only you hold. Cancel Pro, or never pay at all, and everything stays exactly where it is: with you. We could not hold it hostage if we tried, because we cannot read it.

Is privacy different on the free plan?
No. End-to-end encryption is in every plan, at no cost, forever. You never pay us for privacy. It is the foundation, not a feature we upsell.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. One click, no email required, no retention maze. You drop back to the free plan, and all of your data stays on your device where it already was.
Do you sell my data or train on it?
No. The subscription is how Violet makes money, which is exactly why it never has to sell you. Your content is sealed on your device; we cannot read it to sell or train on even if we wanted to.
What is a token, in plain words?
A token is a small chunk of text, a bit less than a word. 50,000 tokens a day is roughly a long conversation every day. Most people never reach the free limit; Pro is for the heavy days.
When can I actually pay?
